September 2021

September is a lot school and getting back into the groove of things for us.  Brandon is doing fall golf and Lydia is back into her ballroom team practices each week.  The house is quiet during the day while I work from home and get other things done.  We decided this year, beings the kids don't have school on Fridays, to head up to McCall and camp for Beau's birthday.  We had a great time kayaking, biking and of course breakfast at the Pancake House.  It was great to get out of the smoke and heat of the valley and be up in the mountains.  The ladies that work for Beau at his office got him Boise State tickets for the whole family to go to a game.  We had a lot of fun together.  Brandon was in heaven cheering on his Broncos!  At the end of the month Lydia's young women's group set up a trip to the Pocatello Temple.  They were staying over night Friday night after going to the open house, but Lydia could not because she had ballroom in the morning Saturday.  So she and I headed down Thursday night and visited with my aunts and uncles on my dad's side.  I forgot to get a picture with Sheila.  We drove back late Friday night and I was grateful Lydia and one other of the girls could help drive.  We got home about 1:30 AM.
