January

January was pretty simple around here.  We celebrated new years at home.  It was our kids first year staying up until Midnight.  Lydia turned 12, which is a big deal in our church.  They start going to youth classes and programs instead of children's and they can begin attending the temple.  She was a little nervous about starting Young Women's but she loves it now!!  She had a party with friends from Star and Middleton and they had a ball. We had to push her party back a week from her birthday because she caught the flu, so it was two party weekends for her. Beau and I celebrated our 14th anniversary on the last day of the month.

Decked out in our new year's hats

Lydia's last day of primary and her popcorn cake from primary (Children's classes)

Lydia came up with this idea for her cake.  It was fun to make

The Beehives (12&13 year old girls) from church came and heart attacked Lydia for her birthday.
