What I figured was going to be an easy going August, turned out being a little crazy. At the end of July we decided to put our house up for sale and put on offer on a new house. We put the house on the market on a Saturday and we both went out of town the Monday after. Tuesday (the next day) we had a cash offer on our house and decided to accept it. This was on July 23rd and we were told that we needed to be out Aug 13th. So on my birthday (Aug 12th) we signed the papers to purchase our new house. We turned our keys over and stayed at a hotel that night. After a day of packing and cleaning the hot tub at the pool felt great. Tuesday night we unloaded our moving truck and stayed a final night at the hotel. We are loving our new house. We have 1100 more square feet and are in a cul-de-sac. We also live across from some good friends of ours.
Everything worked out perfectly on the sale and purchase. We know we have been blessed and we are sooo grateful!
