Sledding

We got a little snow earlier this week and I took the kids sledding in the drainage pit in our development. They had so much fun! So we decided that we needed to do some real sledding. We drove up to Glenns Ferry ( about an hour north). We drove around for a little while looking for a sledding hill one of the locals told us about. We could not find it, so we decided just to sled down the road because not many cars were there. After a couple of sleds and hiking back up we decided to eat lunch. There was a hill right by our car only about 10-12 ft tall but steep so I decided to make a sled hill of it and it was FUN! We sledded there about 1.5 hours.

At the end of the day Tyler had had enough!  He really wasn't as good as a sport as I thought he would be.  Lydia on the other hand went strong the whole time, sledding, making snow balls, eating the snow and trekking everywhere she could.  She loves the snow!
